Buddsteel And The Hamlet With a Heart

belmore centreThe Belmore Community Centre is literally that – the centre of a wee hamlet that sits where 4 Ontario townships – Carrick, Culross, Turnberry and Howick – and 2 counties – Bruce and Huron – come together.

With only 100 citizens, the Belmore Community Centre plays an active role in bringing the community together, as well as showcasing what the area has to offer by hosting events such as the Belmore Maple Syrup Festival!

The Centre includes the arena with skating/hockey ice, curling ice, auditorium, library and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as outdoor facilities: playground, two ball parks, picnic shelter, outdoor booth and tennis courts, all efficiently situated on five acres of land.

Such a Centre requires constant upkeep, often when volunteer funding is measured in dollars rather than millions. Recently Buddsteel Architectural Products was tasked to perform upgrades of the washroom facilities in the Centre in the most cost-effective manner.

From past their ‘best before date’ designs and outdated colours to state of the art materials and colours that will stay in fashion for years to come the upgrade was an amazing success!

Sometimes the most effective upgrade is the simplest (and least expensive), such as a simple privacy screen between two urinal units!

Designs and installations that work with your unique environment and budget are hallmarks of the service Buddsteel Architectural Products Ltd. provide to each and every one of our customers – non-profit, small business, school or multi-national corporation alike!
