One in seven Ontarians are disabled, and this number is expected to rise to one in five over the next 20 years. Are your facilities disability accessible? Or are 2 million potential local customers being turned away due to lack of access?
The Tourism Industry Association of Ontario is hosting four half-day Accessible Tourism Workshops in partnership with RTOs 1, 6, 9, 11, 13, and the Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure.
These workshops will be held: Wednesday, October 15th in Sudbury, Thursday, October 16th in Belleville, Friday, October 17th in London and Wednesday, October 22nd in Markham. Coffee and refreshments will be provided. Cost to attend is $20. For more information visit the TIAO website.
